網友Tea Tea：「中國大陸人搶講奶粉，連澳洲多家商店內奶粉都被搶購一空(Australian baby milk run)，事件上埋澳洲報紙、電視，搶奶粉搶到外國人都聞風色變、揚威國際。
放在商店內的日用品，理論上是供應地區居民日常生活需求，如需大量購買應到生產商處批發，而非掃光小店內的存貨讓當地居民買不到。中國大陸十三億人口，全球沒一個國家有能力為中國供應足夠奶粉，能為中國人供奶的只有中國人自己，泱泱大國連小小的嬰兒奶粉都搞不好，像蝗蟲一樣四出搶奪，羞也不羞？
澳洲朋友說，因為悉尼中國移民/留學生多，走水貨奶粉嚴重，商店除了限購奶粉數量，一些商店甚至要抱著BB去才肯賣奶粉給華人，嚴重影響海外華人形象，黃皮膚黑頭髮龍的傳人，分享到身為華人的什麼光榮？有的只是中國大陸人帶來的丟人現眼。」
